Happy Wednesday! Thank you for supporting my writing! Here’s my guide to using Stylebook, a digital closet app. Happy reading 🫶💗
I may be horrifically bad at math, but I love data.
When I worked as a journalist, I kept tabs on which articles got the most views and how many generated subscriptions. When I worked as a school teacher, I tracked my students’ growth on their standardized tests.
And now, as a person attempting a low-buy lifestyle, I love to keep tabs on my closet’s data. In fact, keeping track of the cost per wear (CPW) of my clothes has immensely motivated me to stop shopping and shrink those numbers.
One of the most helpful tools in keeping track of my low-buy success has been Stylebook, a digital closet app.
You know the movie “Clueless”? In which the main character, Cher, has a digital closet? Stylebook is exactly like that.
The app allows you to upload photos and information about each of your clothing items. Then, you can create your own personal lookbook and create outfits. You can also track your outfits using their calendar feature (which is my favorite part of the app, as it tracks cost per wear).
Uploading your wardrobe sounds tedious, but it doesn’t take too long and I find a lot of enjoyment out of doing it.
That being said, I do have a few helpful tips for navigating Stylebook with ease!
